Thank you sincerely to everyone that attended the memorial of Brady Mangold.
Brady will always be remembered for his big heart, his generosity, his adventurous spirit, and his unmatched ability to make everyone laugh.
Rain or shine, he found a way to bring people together and make the ordinary unforgettable.
Always outdoors, he loved fishing, camping, and building treehouses that somehow got bigger every summer, and never quite got finished.
Determined to make everyone smile, he never failed to turn a quiet evening into a comedy show with his shenanigans.
You could count on his big, silly grin showing up just when you needed it most.
It didn’t matter where he was — his presence meant laughter was coming soon.
Spontaneous and quick-witted, he could make a joke out of thin air and leave you breathless laughing.
Generous with his time and his heart, he was always the first to lend a hand, and to be working on projects for those he loved.
A true craftsman, he could build you anything you needed (and a few things you didn’t), and he tried to teach that gift to those around him.
Yet through all the fun and chaos, he never stopped caring deeply for the people around him.
To his nephews, Korbin and Maverick, he was the one and only “Funcle,” always ready for fun, jokes, projects, fireworks, slightly dangerous stunts, and the dreaded face slap.
Brady brought life to every gathering he attended. He was the one who could turn any moment into laughter, build you anything you needed (and a few things you didn’t), and show up without hesitation whenever someone needed a hand.
To his parents, Jon and Lynn, he was the middle child. So full of life, always quick with a joke and impulse control problems. Who always showed up to be the fixer, and showed his love in the way only he could. The one who, though unconfirmed, believed fully that he was the favorite.
To his siblings, Erik and Shandi, he was the eternal companion. The partner in all activities. The one who ironically told you to quit being so emotional, had no time for the sappy stuff, but loved you unconditionally and showed it in his jabs and banter.
Brady was preceded in death on the Mangold side by his grandparents, uncle, and father. To his aunt, Brenda, he was the image of his father — the joyful reminder of Bobby’s most endearing qualities: his smirk, his love for life, his love for others, and his unending devotion to the ones he loved. He was his father and a constant reminder of his goodness.
He always had a mischevious grin and cared so deeply despite trying to not show it. While growing, up despite the trials, the three of them were an inseparable team.
More than anything, Brady loved his family, his wife, Robyn, and their two beautiful daughters, Livija and Rowdy, the Crown Jewels of his craftsmanship.
Brady’s unique brand of love, lightning-quick wit, deep affection for people, and adventurous energy will never be forgotten. They’ll live on in the countless memories he created and the many lives he touched. Though he will be deeply missed, the promise of seeing him again, just as full of life and devious joy as ever, will remain a spark that keeps us all going.
